Walling Grants for Farms

Postby ag_hind » Thu Jan 03, 2019 2:06 pm

Happy new year everyone.
A simple question. Are farmers still able to access grants specifically designated for repairing/building DSWs? If so, is it considered enough to cover the costs to the farm?
Where could I access the current policy info?
Thanks.

It all depends.

I live in a national park - the grants (HLSS ones) to farmers are provided through our NP. The current rule is that grants are given IF the wall easily be seen from a public road/footpath. The grants cover about 30% - -40% of the work.

If you google the Higher Level Stewardship Scheme, you should fine something about the grants system.
