Anyone built a badger tunnel under a wall?

Postby jerryg » Tue Oct 20, 2015 7:33 pm

I have got a collapsed wall to rebuild. The collapse is due to badgers either climbing over or digging beneath. This is not a sett or anything to do with a sett. Due to the wall situation it would be no good putting a hoghole in the wall. I intend to put a pipe through the base of the wall to allow badgers to go through.

My question is: what diameter pipe should I use?

Hi Jerry, hope you are well..18 inches high and a foot wide is plenty ...all you have to really do is line up with their run, don't deviate as they are really stubborn...
All the best

Hello Jerry,
Interesting question. My local wildlife trust recommend a pipe with a 10inch internal diameter.
