Walling Volunteers looking for walls in South Wales Area

Postby iangiblett » Wed Aug 28, 2013 10:09 am

I represent the Cardiff Conservation Volunteers. We do all sorts of countryside work and one of our favourite tasks is drystone walling. Unfortunately, I'm having trouble finding walls for us to work on in the South Wales area.

As our primary aim is to promote the conservation of the countryside we are not looking for jobs in private gardens but rather in public areas which everyone can access. Common lands, country parks, public rights of way etc are example of places we work.

As a group we have a lots of experience in walling and several members hold a level one certificate.

We work Sundays only and provide between 7 and 13 volunteers at a time. We have public liability insurance and all the necessary tools.

If you are responsible for a wall which needs building/repair and would like to use the Cardiff Conservation Volunteers please get in touch.

Email me at ccv@live.co.uk or reply here.
